Weasley

Weasley is a nervous but sweet boy who is looking for an experienced owner with the time and patience to help him come out of his shell. He can be unsure in new situations, and the shelter is a lot for a cat like him to take in, so what we see here is Weasley adjusting rather than the full picture of who he is.

Notes from his previous home show a lovely, social cat underneath those nerves. Once he knows you, he loves to flop down near you, watch you go about your day and curl up beside you on cold winter nights. He’ll happily headbutt your hand, lean in for pats and reward you with some very loud purrs. He isn’t a fan of being picked up, so he’s at his happiest cuddling beside you rather than in your arms. He also loves his cat treats and could spend hours watching the world go by through a window.

Building Weasley’s confidence won’t happen overnight, so he’ll need someone who understands that and is committed to helping him feel safe. He would ideally suit a quieter home without children under 15, where he can settle in at his own pace without too much noise or activity. Weasley came into care with another cat, although he was hesitant to approach an unfamiliar cat. He may be able to live with another suitable cat following successful meets and a slow, carefully managed introduction.
