About Maui
Meet Maui, a handsome and majestic boy with a heart as big as his paws! 💛
Sweet, affectionate and full of personality, Maui is a lovable boy with just the right amount of cheeky charm. With his enormous paws, fluffy tail and seriously handsome looks, he certainly knows how to make an impression!
Maui loves his creature comforts and can often be found lounging happily on the sofa, soaking up all the cosy moments. When he’s feeling adventurous, he enjoys roaming around his foster carer’s catio, taking in all the sights, sounds and smells from the safety of his own little kingdom.
He’s also a playful boy who loves having fun and can be a little cheeky at times. Like many young playful cats, Maui can occasionally get carried away and may give a gentle nip when he’s overstimulated or caught up in the excitement of play. He’ll do best with humans who can read his cues but also plenty of enrichment.
Maui is wonderful with other cats and has enjoyed playful interactions with his feline friends. Despite his impressive size and majestic appearance, he has shown himself to be gentle and submissive with other cats, making him a lovely companion for a friendly resident kitty.
For someone looking for a sweet, affectionate and playful companion with plenty of charm, good looks and just the right amount of cheekiness, Maui could be the perfect addition to the family. He’s got a gorgeous personality and and lots of love to give. 🐾

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
