About Skip
Meet Skip! Skip is a bright, inquisitive and alert Kelpie puppy who is always ready for his next adventure! He is a clever boy who loves learning and responds beautifully to training, picking up new skills quickly.
Like most Kelpies, Skip has plenty of energy and a strong working drive, so he will thrive with an active family who can keep his clever mind and busy body occupied. Games, training, scent activities and fun outlets such as Collie Balls may be right up his alley.
Skip has come from a rural property and has coped wonderfully with new sights and sounds. He is still learning about walks and meeting people and dogs on lead, so his new family will need to introduce these experiences gradually and positively.
Skip will suit an active home where his intelligence, energy and natural drive can be celebrated and channeled into fun activities.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
