Meet Clancy!

We met Clancy when he came through our doors suffering multiple wounds over his body. He had clearly been living on the streets and suffering for a while and ended up in the best place possible, where we could begin to care for this sweet man.

Clancy has been stressed and scared here. Not only is he experiencing a whole new environment, but he has also been dealing with recovering from his wounds on top of that. He has received incredible care by our wonderful vet team and is doing amazing. He has shown us incredible bravery during this all.

When first meeting Clancy, he will give you a skeptical look, and back up into his condo. He will search around with wary eyes and a curious nature. When it comes to warming Clancy up, we find he likes gentle head scratches and may even give you some little head bumps into your hand. He has a unique and adorable meow which you may be lucky enough to hear upon the first interaction, and we just love when he is comfortable enough to be chatty.

Clancy's ideal home would be a person or family that have no expectations on how quick he will warm up and settle in his new home. He does very well with slow encounters and gentle interactions and appreciates a quiet and calm environment. Time and patience will be your best friend when it comes to helping Clancy settle as he seems to trust people who lt him do things on his terms at his pace. Clancy will absolutely thrive in this kind of home and we can't wait until that special person/s finds Clancy and welcomes him into their life.
