Puffball is looking for a calm, patient and understanding home where he can take his time settling in and build confidence at his own pace. He can become overwhelmed by busy environments and may need additional support to manage stimulation and regulate his behaviour.

Puffball is looking for an adult-only household where he can enjoy a quiet and predictable lifestyle. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home, allowing his new family to focus on his individual needs without the additional demands or stimulation of other pets.

His ideal home will be quiet, peaceful and relatively low-activity, with a consistent routine and people who are willing to give him time and space to decompress. A home with a secure, solidly fenced yard is essential to help keep Puffball safe and provide him with opportunities for appropriate outdoor enrichment. Due to his needs, he is not suited to apartment living.

A dedicated safe haven within the home will be an important part of Puffball’s management. He should have a quiet area where he can retreat to rest and decompress, particularly during periods of increased activity or when he becomes overwhelmed. His family should respect this space and allow him to choose when he is ready to re-engage.

We are looking for adopters who understand that Puffball may require patience, consistency and thoughtful management, particularly during the initial settling period. His adoption will include a trial period to ensure the home is a suitable match for his individual needs.
