Meet Beau, the handsome American Staffordshire Terrier with a heart full of potential and a spirit ready for adventure. This stunning Staffordshire is eagerly waiting for a loving family to join and make special memories with. Beau is crate trained and has a passion for his daily walks, handling his leash like a pro. While he's still practicing good puppy behavior at just 6 months old, his progress is impressive, thanks to some well-implemented training techniques. Consistent training will be key, and we hope his new family will carry on his journey of learning.
Beau's car manners are remarkable, and he's doing fantastically with commands like sit and drop. Not being the most athletic dog, a good daily stroll suits him just fine, making him an excellent match for families seeking a calm yet engaging companion. Although Beau should be the only dog in his new household to focus entirely on his growth and training, he has proven to be a polite guest at cafes, showcasing his calm and composed nature.
The American Staffordshire Terrier is known for being intelligent, confident, and loyal—a true friend who thrives on mental and physical engagement. Beau possesses these breed qualities and needs a family capable of understanding and continuing his training. A home check is necessary, and we’re thrilled to offer a training session to ensure a smooth transition for him and his new family.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal will then take place. You must bring advise Waggy Tails if you are bringing your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. You will need to provide details of your dogs full vaccination status prior to bringing to the Sanctuary.
4. Waggy Tails does not offer trial period for puppies under the age of 6 months who are adopted out. Please ensure you are ready to adopt now. Waggy Tails will do their best to ensure you and your new dog are a good match.
3. Mircrochip transfer takes place after 7 days. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee may be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $500).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their cost from date of adoption.
