Introducing Quackers!
Quackers is a Rottweiler x Stumpy Tail Cattle born 23rd June 2026.
Mum dog is a blue Stumpy Tail Cattle & dad is a Rottweiler x. Although his mum is a stumpy tail Cattle, Quackers does have a full length tail.
Recently we were contacted by another rescue group requesting assistance with a homeless man & his 10 dogs. As much as this man loved & looked after his animals, he clearly wasn't capable of keeping all of them and he needed help reducing his numbers. We were able to rescue all 6 puppies, with 5 of them being transferred to other rescue groups for rehoming. Sweet Quackers is our last remaining pup.
Quackers is a very affectionate young man who adores his human companions. He's incredibly playful, cuddly, food motivated & eager to learn. Quackers is getting bigger by the day and he will need an owner who understands he will need consistent training while he's young, to ensure he grows into a well behaved large dog.
Quackers was housed with the rest of his siblings before they were transferred to other rescue groups for rehoming. He loved spending time with them, playing and cuddling, however we did notice that he was the dominant pup of the litter. He also showed signs of food aggression towards his siblings, but not towards humans.
Quackers loves his human companions and meeting new friends.
Like every pup, Quackers will thrive with early socialisation and exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences will ensure he grows to be a well rounded young man.
He still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Quackers will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Being young he is still growing into his personality, but this little guy is a very loving pup who can't wait to find his forever home.
Please note that if you have an existing dog in residence, we will require a meet and greet to ensure they get along and will be always best buddies. When organising a meet and greet, we will require a current vaccination certificate for your existing dog to ensure that there is no chance of infecting the pups who are currently not up to date with their vaccinations.
Quacker's adoption fee is $750 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration & current vaccination. Quackers is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
*Please note Quackers is booked for desexing on Wednesday 14th October. He will not be able to go to his new home until Thursday 15th October.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
