About Millie - 6 Year Old Lab X Kelpie
🐾 Meet Millie! 💕
If you’re looking for a dog who will be your best friend, shadow and professional cuddler all rolled into one, Millie might just be your girl!
Millie is an incredibly sweet, happy and loving 6-year-old Lab X who absolutely adores people. She loves nothing more than being around her humans and will happily spend her days right by your side. Whether you’re going for a walk, relaxing on the couch or just pottering around the house, you can expect Millie to be close by… or on top of you! (She thinks she’s a lap dog).
💕 Millie is a total cuddle bug and is very affectionate with her people. She would be fine with full time workers but given how much she loves people, she would prefer a family who can give her plenty of companionship.
Millie is also a very clever girl! She is food and attention motivated and already knows an impressive list of commands.
She has amazing recall, is consistent with going to the toilet outside and doesn't bark or jump up on people. She is a very well-mannered girl who is ready to settle straight into family life.
🐱 Cats: Millie has no interest in cats whatsoever.
🐶 Other dogs: Millie is okay with other dogs, but she can be a little bossy and likes to make her opinions known! A meet and greet with any resident dog will therefore be required to make sure everyone is a good match.
At the end of the day, Millie is just a very happy girl who loves life and loves her people. She is affectionate, obedient, clever and incredibly loyal. If you want a dog who is going to follow you around, shower you with love and happily curl up beside you at the end of the day, Millie could be the perfect match. 💗

Millie is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. She is available for interstate adoption. Her adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
