Gorgeous lovebug Oshay is now ready to find his forever home.

The first thing you need to know about him is that he LOVES to cuddle his people, whether that's standing on his hind legs and wrapping his front legs around your waist, or laying across your legs if you're sitting down (warning: can make it hard to watch TV). He loves to just gaze into your eyes and show you how much he loves you. His soft head feels like velvet, and just invites you to smooch and pat him.

Oshay has been sharing his foster home with another ACD mix (Murgatroyd) and the resident small terrier. He has been friendly to both. His play style is quite boisterous so if he was to live with another dog, ideally they would love playing as much as he does. However, he is respectful of the size difference with the little terrier and keeps his boisterous playing for Murgatroyd, who is the same size. He loves a game of fetch with his humans and will keep fetching as long as you're willing to keep throwing - especially if it's a squeaky toy.

Oshay is also sharing his foster home with 2 cats, but is kept separated from them by baby gates so is untested. He has stood with his front legs on top of the baby gate and watched them without showing aggression.

He hasn't been tested with kids, so unsure how he would go based on his need to hug his humans. Whether he would try to do that with little humans is unknown, but he's a smart boy and eager to please so further training could probably address that issue if he did.

Oshay appears to have had little leash experience prior to coming into rescue, so his leash manners are a work in progress. At the moment, he can pull strongly on the leash due to his enthusiasm to explore the world. His forever people would need to keep working on leash training with him.
