Meet Ollie, a sweet but sensitive boy who is looking for a patient home willing to help him continue building his confidence. While he may be unsure when meeting new people, Ollie has so much potential and is searching for a family who will see beyond his nerves and give him the time he needs to feel safe and secure.

Ollie is not the type of dog who will make friends instantly. He needs slow, thoughtful introductions and may require a few meet-and-greets before he feels comfortable with new people. Because of this, he would thrive in a quiet household with older children aged 16+ or an adult-only home. His ideal adopters will have experience with nervous dogs and a good understanding of canine body language, allowing them to recognise when he needs support, space, or reassurance.

A home with another friendly and confident dog is strongly recommended, as Ollie gains comfort from canine companionship and can benefit from having a calm role model to learn from. He would suit a moderately active lifestyle where he can enjoy regular walks, enrichment, and opportunities to explore the world at a pace that keeps him feeling confident.

Ollie will need ongoing training and socialisation to help him become the best version of himself. Continued positive experiences with new people, environments, sounds, and handling will be important, along with work on his basic obedience and lead skills. He is also continuing his crate training and would benefit from one-on-one training sessions to help strengthen his confidence and independence.
