New people and unfamiliar situations can make him a bit nervous at first, but with patience and encouragement, he soon finds his rhythm. He's social with both male and female dogs and would likely love a confident canine dance partner to help him navigate life's routines.

When the show is over, Toby is all about the after-party cuddles. He's a champion snuggler who would happily spend his evenings curled up on the couch with his family. He'd suit a home with older children who can give him a little space while he learns the steps of his new life, and he'd benefit from a family who is home often or willing to help him settle in at his own pace.

Toby can sometimes feel a little unsure of his surroundings, so secure 6ft fencing is recommended to keep this talented jumper safe. However, with a canine companion or a family around more often than not, he may be comfortable with 5ft fencing as well.
