About Lex
Darling Lex came into care after time spent abandoned on the streets. He remains unconvinced that human can be fully trusted. Lex keeps to himself for the most part but is he is such a very special boy to be around.
He chatters most delightfully at dinner time, making sure he can’t miss out on his meal. This is when he is at his boldest and most interactive and it’s so sweet to participate in.
He ADORES the attached outdoor enclosure at his foster carer’s home and can often be found out there, curled up, happy, and feeling relaxed. He will make contact briefly through the wire whilst in this happy space. Back inside the house he will hang about on the fringes of daily feline and people activity. He does require a friendly, interactive cat in the home to make friends with.
In his foster carer’s home, his particular friend is Spice.. He adores Spice and thinks he’s the best. He invites play with Spice and it’s a delight to witness. Spice is also currently available for adoption. Lex can be induced to play if there is no other activity around him and he can focus on the game. Lex needs to be indoor only cat, except for an outdoor cat enclosure. He is litter trained.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition that you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
