About Munchkin
Munchkin is an affectionate, playful girl, and a team player in a houseful of cats.
She loves to curl up with her humans on (or in) the bed and will happily supervise you as you work or play. She adores an intense session of playing with cat toys with her people and enjoys finding “unique cat value items” around the house and fetching them back to her special space.
Munchkin is such a lovely companion to have around. She wants to be involved in whatever you are doing, keeping you company. She will also happily wait at home whilst you are away for the day and then have that promised game with you once you are back.
Miss Munchkin ideally needs to have another friendly cat in the home who would willingly curl up with her for a snooze and have to occasional romp and wrestle through the house with. She is used to living with cat friendly dogs and is good with cat savvy children.
Munchkin needs to be indoor only cat, except for an outdoor cat enclosure.

*All cats and kittens adopted through Pyrenees Animal Rescue are only available to homes where they will be kept indoors or in a secure cat run/enclosure. A yard with fencing is not enough to keep an adventurous cat contained, or safe from dogs and traffic. *

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition that you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
