Meet Georgie, a tiny senior lady who has decided that life is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace — preferably from a soft bed, with plenty of naps and the occasional head scratch.
Georgie is sweet, gentle and wonderfully docile. She spends most of her day sleeping, but when she's awake, she's partial to giving you adorable little headbutts to let you know she's around. She absolutely loves a good head scratch and is very happy to soak up some affection.
And when bedtime rolls around? Georgie likes to sleep on the bed with her human. Because obviously, a proper night's sleep requires a tiny furry supervisor. 🥰
She's not particularly keen on being picked up, preferring all four paws firmly on the ground. She also has a slight vision issue, but this doesn't stop her from enjoying life or navigating her favourite cosy spots.
Georgie would ideally like to be the only cat in the household. She's happiest when she has her human's attention (and the best sleeping spots!) all to herself. She'd suit someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion rather than a high-energy, constantly-on-the-go kitty.
Georgie's life philosophy:
Nap often. Headbutt generously. Accept scratches. Sleep on the human's bed. Repeat. 🐾

At Furever After Rescue Incorporated, our mission is to find Furever Loving Homes for every pet we rescue. We ensure a perfect match by placing our cats in suitable indoor environments, either strictly indoors or indoors with a secure outdoor enclosure. This protects both your cat, and the local wildlife.
Our thorough adoption process includes:
Adoption form: Provides us with essential information about your lifestyle and suitability for cat ownership.
Phone interview: Allows us to discuss your expectations and answer any questions you may have.
Video or physical house inspection: Ensures your home provides a safe and comfortable environment for the cat.
Adoption fee: Helps cover the costs of veterinary care for our rescued animals.
2-week trial period: Gives you and the cat time to adjust and bond before finalizing the adoption.
As of July 2021, the adoption of desexed animals from a registered rehoming organization like Furever After Rescue Incorporated means you'll receive free lifetime registration for your new pet. Furever After Rescue Incorporated is a designated registered pet rescue organization with the Office of Local Government, complying with section 88B of the Companion Animals Act 1998.
All our cats come microchipped, desexed, minimum 1st vaccination (depending on age), flea-treated, wormed and with a free NSW Lifetime Registration.

1. Returns & Refund Policy
First 2 Weeks: No refunds are given for cats returned during the 2-week trial period to ensure they are given sufficient time to adjust.
Up to 1 Month: A $50 admin fee applies to any approved refunds requested between the end of the 2-week trial and the end of the first month of adoption.
Future Surrenders: No refunds are available after the first month, and a surrender fee may apply if the cat is returned to our care in the future.
2. Application Outcomes We aim to review and respond to applications within 1–3 days. Due to high volume, we can only contact successful applicants. If you haven’t heard from us within this timeframe, your application has not been successful this time. No further action is required on your part, and we truly appreciate your support.
