About Sunny
Prepare to fall in love with Sunny, the delightful Dachshund, Rottweiler, and Labrador mix, who is the perfect balance of playfulness and charm. Born on August 23, 2025, and weighing in at a petite 10 kg, Sunny is a happy and friendly girl who brings sunshine into every room she enters.
Initially a tad shy, Sunny has blossomed into a delightful, social creature who loves to play. Her endearing nature is quickly evident, and she's known for getting along wonderfully with other dogs. Sunny has met the resident cat and seemed ok with her.
Sunny came in alongside her sister Stella, reflecting the strong bonds she forms with companions. Her playful energy is contagious, inviting those around her to enjoy life and moments of laughter and joy. Whether it's a romp in the yard or a game of fetch, Sunny is always ready to join in on the fun.

Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
