MEET PERCY
This adorable big lab is gentle and a bit timid. He is respectful to cats and children, takes a while to warm up to some adults and larger sized dogs. Little dogs are not an issue for Percy as he lived with a miniature poodle for six years.

His home environment has dissolved and at his age he finds himself looking for a new family to love. You will need to have patience and kindness above anything else. You need to put your thoughts into what he has been through and let him come to you so he choses you to be his friend. Please want to be his solution and not another human who has expectations above what he can meet.

Percy is best suited to someone who will walk him daily, allow him to be a part of their life and enjoy the company of a dog who has the experience of life on his side. He is a good boy, a lovely gentle boy and he deserves the rest of his life to be filled with love.

ADOPTION INSIGHT

Percy is best suited to an individual or older couple or family with older children who have the time to walk him and give him affection. Likely will need a little bit of land, can not be a unit or flat in highly populated suburbia. Percy does behave well alone and will be a good protector. Percy will need a lot of time adjust to his new family, if you expect an immediate connection, this is not the dog for you. If you have patience enough to wait for him to select you, Percy will be an amazing companion.
