🐾 MEET JONTY
Jonty is a very cute little Jack Russell Terrier with a wonderfully serious expression that gives him the look of a tiny old man contemplating the state of the world.
Behind that earnest little face, however, is a bright young terrier with all the charm, curiosity and personality you'd expect from the breed.
🏡 WELL SOCIALISED
Jonty has had a lovely start in life and has been well socialised from an early age. He is comfortable with dogs beyond his littermates and has also been exposed to children and cats, giving him a great foundation as he grows into family life.
🧠 CLEVER & FULL OF CHARACTER
Jack Russells are intelligent, active little dogs who generally enjoy training, games, walks and being involved in family life.
They are small dogs with plenty of personality, so Jonty will do best with people who enjoy an alert, lively companion and are happy to provide regular exercise and mental stimulation.
🏡 JONTY’S IDEAL HOME
Jonty’s ideal home will be one where he is genuinely part of family life.
He will need:
• secure fencing
• plenty of companionship
• regular exercise and play
• positive, consistent training
• mental stimulation and enrichment
Like all puppies, Jonty will need patience, consistency and continued socialisation as he grows.
✂️ DEFERRED DESEXING PROGRAM
Jonty will be adopted under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program. His adoption fee includes the cost of desexing, subject to the terms and conditions of the program.
His successful adopter will be required to sign ARK’s Deferred Desexing Agreement, ensure that he is not permitted to breed, and have him desexed within the required timeframe in accordance with the terms of that agreement.
🚗 INTERSTATE APPLICATIONS WELCOME
ARK welcomes suitable interstate applications and is happy to assist successful applicants with transport options, quotes and the practical arrangements needed to get Jonty safely to his new home.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
