Meet Dolly, a gorgeous little Dachshund puppy who has come into care with her two brothers.
Her foster mum says that Dolly and her brothers are quite simply the most delightful puppies she has ever had in care. They are, in her words, “the dearest little things” — affectionate, easy to live with and no trouble at all.
Dolly and her littermates have settled beautifully into foster care. They are living with three adult small-breed dogs, as well as cats and kittens, and they play happily and appropriately with all of them. Dolly is just as comfortable around the cats as she is around the dogs.
As you would expect from a young puppy, Dolly is still learning the finer points of toilet training. At night, she sleeps happily in a large crate with her siblings.
Her new family will need to continue providing positive, consistent training, thoughtful socialisation and plenty of involvement in everyday family life.

✂️ DEFERRED DESEXING PROGRAM
Dolly will be adopted under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program.
Her adoption fee covers the cost of desexing, subject to the terms of ARK’s Deferred Desexing Agreement.
Her successful adopter will be required to sign the agreement and ensure Dolly does not breed and is desexed within the required timeframe.
🚗 INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS
ARK welcomes suitable interstate applications and is happy to assist successful applicants with information and quotes for transport.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
