About Layla
Meet Layla, a delightful young Jack Russell Terrier with a heart full of love and energy. Born on October 29, 2022, Layla is a charming and spirited female pup who is as affectionate as she is playful. She was brought in with her best friend Ruby, who is also a Jack Russell, and together, they've been a wonderful duo full of joy and boundless fun.
Layla is a social butterfly who thrives on human interaction and enjoys receiving affection from everyone she meets. Her love for a good pat and a couple of treats makes her a delightful companion ready to melt your heart with every wag of her tail. She’s quite good on a lead, though she welcomes additional training to help refine her walking skills. Layla's recall is generally reliable; however, some reinforcement could boost her confidence and ensure she responds promptly every time.
When it comes to canine interactions, Layla is usually fine with other dogs. Yet, she appreciates a gentle introduction to kickstart any new friendship. Layla's ideal home would be one that can offer a balanced mix of adventure and downtime, alongside positive reinforcement training, and, of course, Ruby or another friendly dog with whom to share her days.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
