She may not be a water bender, but Katara is definitely a heart bender! This gorgeous girl has gone from a shy, nervous little kitten to a confident, curious character who now believes she owns her foster family’s house — and quite frankly, she may have a point! 😹
Katara is a girl who knows what she wants, and that includes food, fun and plenty of cuddles. She has an absolutely enormous purr for such a little cat — honestly, you’d think there was a much bigger engine hiding inside her!
These days, Katara is full of confidence and loves getting involved in everything. When she isn't chasing her foster siblings or bouncing around playing, she can usually be found investigating something she probably shouldn't be investigating, exploring every nook and cranny, or proudly carrying off a completely random household object that she has decided is her brand-new toy.
She absolutely adores her foster cat-siblings and dog-siblings and loves having furry friends around. After all that playing and mischief, she is just as happy to curl up on a human for a serious session of purrs and snuggles. She also loves sleeping tucked up with her fur-siblings.
Katara is very much a companion cat. She loves having company and would prefer a home where her humans are around a lot, as she doesn't particularly enjoy being left on her own for long periods. She would be happiest in a household where she can be part of the action and have plenty of human and/or furry companionship.
She is comfortable with other kittens, cats and friendly dogs when introductions are done correctly. Because she can still be startled by loud or sudden noises, a home with young children may not be the best fit for her.
If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, slightly mischievous little companion who will keep you entertained, fill your home with purrs and occasionally steal your belongings, Katara might just be your girl. ❤️
