About Harry - 3 Year Old Dachshund X Jack Russell
Meet Harry! A, sweet, loving, happy 3 y/o Dachshund x Jack Russell. With this ginger coat and white sock, we just think he’s as cute as can be!
Harry is wonderfully easy to have around the home. He sleeps quietly in his own bed all night, he’s toilet trained, uses a dog door and loves his daily walks and outings. He’s has also been fine left home alone with his foster brother.
He’s currently in foster care with another dog and they love to play, wrestle, and share toys.
Harry is good with other dogs and loves to play but can occasionally be dominant and mouthy when playing.
It’s only once a dog starts playing with him, he can get a bit too excited which in the past has caused frustrations between him and the dog he was previously living with.
Harry would need to go into a home as an only dog to avoid this happening again. Although he would love to continue having doggy friends out and about to play with!
He loves the beach, the dog park, the car and just tagging along as the perfect little side kick. He would love a family that enjoy getting out and about ensuring he gets the exercise and stimulation he so loves! He would love someone willing to continue his training to become the best boy.
He’s good with children but best suited to 8 years as he can be occasionally timid with news things. No cat or chickens/birds.
Once Harry settles in and (quickly) decides you’re his people, he’s so incredibly loving and loyal. He has such a soft and gentle nature towards people and makes a wonderful addition to your life.
He’s currently fresh food fed on Lyka and thriving!
Harry is in foster care in Broadmeadow, NSW. His adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
