Meet Squidette, a tiny little lady with a signature head tilt that makes her even more adorable! 💕

Squidette was one of the first cats we rescued from the 35-cat colony, and she caught our attention straight away. She was underweight and had a very noticeable head tilt that made us wonder if there was something neurological going on.

Once we got her safely into care, we quickly realised just how much this little girl had been dealing with. She was riddled with ringworm, battling a nasty case of cat flu and struggling with ongoing congestion. We were told that her head tilt had been there for quite some time, so initially we thought it may have been something she would simply live with.

But even after weeks of treatment, Squidette’s congestion just wouldn’t completely clear.

When she went in to be desexed, we finally discovered a possible piece of the puzzle - the vets found a large polyp in her throat. Warning: slightly gruesome photo at the end!

Thankfully, it has now been removed, and our little Squidette is feeling SO much better. 🥹

Now back in foster care, Squidette is sweet but a little shy. Once she feels comfortable, she’s happy to enjoy some gentle pats and, of course, a few tasty treats! She’s a lovely little girl who will thrive in the right home!

We would love to see her in a home where she can continue to blossom, put on those last few much-needed grams and experience all the comforts she missed out on for so long. Somewhere safe and loving where her quirky little head tilt is adored and her tiny belly is always full.
