JACKSON — FROM COLONY PATRIARCH TO BELOVED HOUSE CAT ❤️
Jackson spent his life as the patriarch of a very large colony, where so many cats were exposed to neglect and abuse.
I rescued Jackson and his whole family his “kids” from this situation. One by one, they have all found their forever homes. Now it’s Jackson’s turn. ❤️
At 8.5kg, Jackson is a true gentle giant, almost like a slightly smaller version of a puma! 🥹🐾 He is an absolutely magnificent-looking boy, but underneath that impressive size and appearance is the sweetest, gentlest soul. ❤️
He loves lying beside you, follows his foster carer around like a little dog and just wants to be near his person. Jackson gets along well with other cats. He has not a vicious bone in his body. ❤️
Jackson has adapted so beautifully to indoor life and absolutely loves being safe and loved. The vacuum is still something he's trying to make sense of 😂 but he's taken to everything else wonderfully.
Jackson is approximately 4–5 years old and is fully vetted:

🐾 Flea & worm treated
🏡 Indoor-only home or a secure attached enclosure required.
After everything this beautiful boy has been through, Jackson deserves a family who will love him as much as he loves them. His whole family has found their homes. Now it’s Jackson’s turn to finally find his. ❤️🐾

Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email adoptpar@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
