Salsa is looking for a very special home with someone willing to give him the time, patience, and understanding he needs.

Found as a stray kitten, Salsa didn’t have much positive human interaction early in life, so people can still be a little scary to him, but with patience and time he has begun to show his true love-bug self! Since learning the ropes from his smoochy foster sister Sandy, Salsa is starting to learn that pats really are that great!

Salsa will need a calm, adult-only household with an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is happy to let him progress at his own pace. He’s an enthusiastic little house tiger that absolutely loves hunting down his toys and playing catch with his treats. Once he’s tuckered out and has a full belly, he’ll find his spot on his blanket and purr up a storm to show his appreciation 😻

Salsa would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly cat or kitten to show him the ropes and help build his confidence, just like his foster sister has. Having a feline friend gives him reassurance and encourages him to be brave.

While Salsa isn’t the kitten who will curl up in your lap on day one, there’s something incredibly rewarding about watching a shy cat learn to trust. With patience, consistency, and love, we believe Salsa will continue to blossom.
