About Rocky
Rocky is a sensitive little guy and has been through a lot of change in his short two years. He needs a quieter home without young children/grandchildren as he will growl when unsure and needs to build his confidence in an environment he feels safe in. He is a really sweet and loving boy with people he knows and seeks out cuddles and affection but needs time to build that bond and grow his confidence.
Rocky walks well on lead and we suspect he is housetrained, he does get on with other dogs but would also be fine solo. While he is well suited to living with an older person he was surrendered to us for getting under an older persons feet and growling at grandchildren, also bare in mind he is only two years old and will live possibly up to another 15 years so please consider your living situation carefully before inquiring as we will be fielding a lot of calls about him and will only be placing him in an appropriate home based on his needs right now.

Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc.
