Jeanalicious is a gentle, delicate little guy stepping out into the big world for the very first time. Having spent his first two years living in a quiet, isolated environment alongside his sister, he has had no real exposure to life outside. Because of his rough start, he is understandably timid, unsure of new things, and cautious around people.

While he isn't a lap dog just yet and prefers to keep his paws firmly on the ground rather than being picked up, Jeanalicious has a quiet curiosity. If you give him space and patience, he will voluntarily come over and sit right next to you, soaking in your presence without any pressure.

What Jeanalicious Needs to Succeed
A Confident Doggy Companion (Essential): Jeanalicious has relied on canine partnership his whole life. He requires a calm, friendly, and confident resident dog who can show him the ropes, build his security, and teach him how to "dog."

Gentle Handling: Being picked up makes him feel vulnerable, so his ideal adopters will respect his boundaries and use positive, low-stress ways to guide him around the home.

Patient House Training: Everything about living in a normal household is brand new to him. He is starting from scratch with toilet training and learning daily routines, so routine and positive encouragement are key.

A Peaceful Household: Busy or noisy environments will overwhelm him. A quiet, calm home (adults or quiet families) where he can decompress and move at his own pace will help his confidence flourish.
