Adoption information
About Olive
Olive is a female tortoiseshell domestic short hair cat available for adoption in North Ryde (Sydney, New South Wales).
Olive is the cat who meets you at the door with her tail up and plenty to say. Her guardian describes her as extremely sweet and gentle, chatty and happiest close to you.
She lives with another cat, Noel, and shares her bowl, her water fountain and her litter box with him.
Olive and Noel each have their own listing. Meet Noel here.
A little about Olive:
🐾 Loves greeting you at the door, tail up and meowing
🐾 Adores sleeping under the blanket
🐾 Big fan of treats
🐾 Loves watching TV on the couch with her guardian
🐾 Adores gentle play and cuddles with Noel
Olive's days have a comfortable shape: window-watching, cuddles, grooming, a wander, play with Noel and TV with her guardian in the evening.
When you get home, she greets you and chats. At bedtime, she sleeps beside you.
Olive may be a little shy when you first meet. Give her a moment to get her bearings and you'll find she's rubbing against you and asking for a pat.
She's gentle with other cats, with no aggression at all, so a feline friend in her new home would suit her.
Olive suits a calm indoor home, and apartment living is no problem. She's happy with a young or elderly guardian, and an active household would suit her too.
Picture a quiet evening: Olive tucked under a blanket beside you, the TV on and her chatty voice telling you about her day.
Olive is ready. The tail-up hello, the blanket naps and the cuddles on the couch.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
