Rex is a bright and boisterous chap with a personality that's hard to resist. He's a cheeky, confident bundle of fun who has a knack for winning people over with his antics & larger-than-life personality.
A certified smarty pants. He absolutely loves to learn & and is particularly fond of showing off just how clever he is, give him a new trick to master and you can bet he'll be keen to Rex-ecute it on command (preferably with plenty of praise and a treat or two for his efforts).
And as if he couldn't get any better, he's open to meeting other dogs!
This social boy loves making new friends and is just as happy having a silly play as he is hanging out alongside them. He's playful, interactive and full of fun, while still being respectful of his canine companions. Rex knows how to have a good time without forgetting his manners.
Put it all together and you've got one Rex-cellent chap who's ready to find his people.

All adoptions must go through our official Council website - head over to www.campbelltown.nsw.gov.au, click ‘Adopt an Animal’ to browse our available animals.
Alternatively, you can search for a specific animal by typing their name or impound number in the search bar.
Click 'Submit an Expression of Interest' on the animals’ profile to fill out a pre-questionnaire to get the ball rolling…

Post Adoption Life
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
