🐾💕 Meet Bailey – A Proper Little Frenchie With a Big Personality! 💕🐾
Bailey is a 3 year and 2 month old French Bulldog
Weighing 8.5kgs
Bailey is the kind of Frenchie who believes life should be simple: love her humans, get plenty of attention, find the warmest patch of sunshine and make herself comfortable on the couch. And honestly, she may have the French Bulldog lifestyle pretty much perfected! 😂❤️
Bailey came into care from a backyard breeder before she had any babies, and since arriving in rescue she has absolutely thrived. She has had all of her vet work completed and is now ready for the very best part — finding her forever family and finally getting to live the life every dog deserves.
💕 PERSONALITY
Bailey is a sweet, affectionate little girl who loves attention and cuddles. She is happiest when she is close to her people and will happily park herself by your feet so she doesn't miss anything important.
She is generally very sedate and easy-going, although she does have a hilarious little Frenchie turbo mode! When she wakes up or her humans arrive home, she gets about five minutes of “OMG YOU'RE HOME!” energy, and then she's ready to go back to being a professional lounger.
And for a Frenchie, she is wonderfully quiet. Bailey isn't a big barker and is generally happy just hanging out with her people.
👧 BAILEY & KIDS
Bailey loves children and has been around children aged 6 and 11 years old. She enjoys being part of the family and would love a home where she can be included in everyday life.
🐶 BAILEY & OTHER DOGS
Bailey likes other dogs and has been comfortable around Kelpies and smaller breeds.
She is also perfectly happy being the only dog, so there is no requirement for her to have a canine brother or sister.
There is just one little Frenchie rule to remember... Bailey can occasionally forget her manners when food is involved! 😂 So if she has a doggy housemate, sensible management around food will be important.
🌞 AT HOME
Bailey is very much an indoor/outdoor girl who enjoys her dog bed or the couch, with her favourite locations being somewhere sunny or right beside your feet.
Basically, if you're there, Bailey would like to be there too.
She is toilet trained and has lovely relaxed house manners. She has previously been crated but isn't a fan, so her forever family will need to understand that Bailey would much rather sleep somewhere comfy than be shut in a crate.
🚶♀️ WALKS
Bailey actually enjoys getting out for a little walk and can happily manage around 30 minutes.
She's also a good girl on the lead and doesn't pull, so her walks are much more of a pleasant little Frenchie stroll than a “let's drag Mum down the street” situation! 😂
✂️ GROOMING
Bailey keeps things nice and simple. She doesn't require regular professional grooming and is happy with a dog wash when needed.
❤️ BAILEY'S FOREVER HOME
Bailey is looking for a family who will love her, include her, spoil her with attention and give her the chance to enjoy being someone's beloved pet.
She has already done the hard part. She came into care before having babies, has had all of her vet work completed, has blossomed in foster care and has discovered just how wonderful being a pampered little Frenchie can be.
Now she needs someone who is ready for 8.5kgs of cuddles, snorts, sunshine, couch lounging and five-minute zoomies!

- Your current dogs vaccinations up-to-date and have a copy of the certificate to send thru (please contact your vet asap if you don't have a copy)
- Your dog can travel to the carers location
- You are available to attend the meet and greet within the next 7 days

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
