About Jacob
Meet Jacob 💙
Jacob is a friendly, loving boy with a wonderfully gentle nature and a personality that is impossible not to adore. He has the sweetest balance of affection and independence - he loves being around his people and receiving plenty of attention, but he’s also perfectly happy wandering around the house, lounging on the bed or keeping himself company.
Jacob is also quite the conversationalist! He’s a vocal boy who loves to meow and chirp, especially when he thinks it's time to give him more love. When he’s not busy chatting to his humans, Jacob loves his playtime. He’s an energetic and curious boy who enjoys running around, jumping up high and exploring.
Jacob is also showing a lovely interest in other cats so could be homed with a friendly resident cat. One of the most special things about Jacob is just how gentle and patient he is. We think Jacob could also do well in a home with children, provided they are gentle with him and understand how to respect his boundaries.
One of the most special things about Jacob is just how gentle and patient he is. He has had his nails trimmed, several baths, medication and plenty of handling during his time in care, and through it all he has never bitten or shown any hostility. He is incredibly docile and tolerant, which is particularly wonderful given his background. His gentle nature is one of his foster carer’s favourite things about him.
Jacob is now ready to find a family who will give him plenty of love, playtime and companionship, while appreciating all the little ways he shows just how happy he is to be part of their lives.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
