Britney

Britney is a sweet and gentle 6-year-old Labradoodle who is looking for a very special forever home - one where she can take life at her own pace and discover the world with someone by her side.

Britney is a quiet girl who can be a little unsure when faced with new experiences. She hasn't had the opportunity to experience many of the everyday things that other dogs may take for granted, so she will need a patient and understanding family who can give her the time, space and reassurance she needs to build her confidence.

Britney really comes into her own with the right canine company. A calm, confident and well-mannered doggy companion could be a wonderful friend for her, helping her feel safe and showing her that the world isn't quite so scary after all. Having a furry friend by her side may help Britney find her confidence and settle into her new life.

Her ideal home would be a calm, quiet, adult-only household without children, where she won't be expected to become an instant social butterfly. Britney needs people who understand that progress may come in little steps - a brave moment here, a curious sniff there, and eventually the confidence to enjoy all the wonderful things life has to offer. Britney will thrive in a home with another dog to help build her confidence.

We haven't had the opportunity to test Britney with cats while she has been in our care, although we feel she may be able to live happily with a cat following careful and appropriate introductions.

Britney may need a little more patience and understanding than some dogs, but that's what makes finding the right home for her so important. For the person who is willing to give her the time she needs, watching Britney blossom will be incredibly rewarding.

All Britney needs is someone to believe in her, give her a safe place to land and show her that she is loved. With patience, kindness and a quiet home, this beautiful girl has every chance to discover her confidence and become the wonderful companion she is waiting to be.
