D1295 Misty

Misty is a 15mth old staffy cross who is super fun and energetic. Misty loves her people, loves life outdoors and equally snuggling indoors with her humans. Misty is only 18kgs, so a nice compact cuddly girl.
A rough start to life, she found herself pregnant in the pound with unplanned litter at 14mths old, not at all part of her life plan. She had her puppies in our shelter under the care of our wonderful volunteers. She did her job as a young teen mum, raised 6 huge puppies who are all in their forever homes. It is now Misty’s turn to find her forever home.
Misty is a great little family dog, she is very comfortable in the yard playing with toys, watching the world go by through the fence, chasing birds up and down the yard and of course a bit of barking at dogs walking past. She loves playing tug of war outside with her rope toy.
She also loves her snuggles inside, adores a belly rub, sits on her bed and destroys her toys, is house trained and is safe to leave home alone inside or outside. She sleeps most of the day after a walk and doesn’t suffer separation anxiety. She does dig a little in the yard if left alone for long periods, but short dog fences are successful in keeping her off precious gardens.
She is very weary of other dogs, something we are working on. Whilst she LOVES her daily walk, she pulls terribly on the lead, something else we are working on. She is super relaxed whilst at home but is super hyper when out on a walk. She is prey driven, so will chase anything.
