Breed - terrier mix is our best guess
Rex is a little guy with plenty of personality ā and he knows what he likes! He tends to gravitate towards the ladies and is very much foster mumās shadow, so heād love a home where his human is around more often than not.
He can take a little longer to warm up to men, but once he gets to know you, heās a friendly little guy. Weād simply recommend slow introductionsā¦ because we donāt want his spicy personality making an unexpected appearance! š¶ļø. We would also suggest older children/teens
Rex was surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him, but thatās all we know about his past. What we do know is that his foster family think he is the best boy! š„°
While Rex might be little in stature, he certainly isnāt lacking in the solid department! This little fella is deceptively heavy for his size ā thereās plenty of Rex packed into that compact body!
He sticks close to his doggie foster sister, and much to everyoneās delight has only tried to chase the resident feline once!
Rex did find his recent vet visit a little frightening, so we popped a soft muzzle on him to help keep everyone safe while he was feeling unsure. Heās already back to doing what Rex does best ā being his foster mumās little shadow. š
Now all Rex needs is someone to look past those wonky ears, big solid body and ridiculously adorable face and sayā¦

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. Itās a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if itās a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
