My Ideal Home:
• I’m an indoor-only kitty so I can live a long, happy, and healthy life.
• A good-quality dry food diet would help keep my teeth healthy and sparkling.
• Toys, enrichment, and fun activities will keep my clever mind busy and content.
• A home filled with lots of love, patience, and attention.
• My quiet, gentle nature means I’d suit a calm, mature household best.
• I came from a home where it was just my owner & myself. At the shelter, I didn’t appear to have an issue with meeting dogs, so with slow introductions, I may be happy to coexist with cat-friendly dogs.
• In my golden years, I’m looking for a calm, relaxed home — only adults or older children.
• I’d love a quiet, peaceful home where I can spend my days basking in sunny spots and snuggled up on the lounge.

Adoption applications can only be approved if you’re able to visit the shelter to meet George in person.
PLEASE NOTE: Shelter staff make the final decision based on determining if the applicant can meet the animal’s needs (lifestyle, home environment, experience). Our goal is to ensure a permanent home that sets both the animal and new family up for success.
Shelter staff reserve the right to deny an adoption if they determine the animal's specific needs do not match the applicant's lifestyle.

Adoption details
All adoptions are through an application process.
You will find the link to the online application form in each animal’s profile.
Preferred applicants will be phoned to book an appointment to meet the dog or cat.
Once the adoption has been finalised, unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email.
