About Badger
READY FOR ADOPTION – MEET BADGER
Badger is a five-month-old kelpie cross puppy who is likely Dane, Arab or other large breed, he is predicted to be a large dog once fully grown. Badger is black and white with both patches and spots, he is learning to sit, drop and come quickly and loves his daily walks. Badger might look big but he can be quite shy and is a bit of a baby, he needs reassurance with new experiences like passing cars, trucks and bikes just so he knows he is safe – otherwise he sits or reverses when he is feeling shy or nervous, he just needs lots of pats and he is good to continue.
Badger is great with the pups and children he is fostered with and thinks of himself as a lap dog which would need to change as he grows! He play bites and tugs at clothing like his sister but is quick to stop with a quick redirection sitting and waiting to find out what he should do next playfully waiting for the next game or positive interaction which he loves.
Badger had a tooth removed as his juvenile canines were a bit close together, he also has a twisted tail but is otherwise a healthy and happy pup ready for his home. Badger is a good patient, crate trained and ready to love you if you are ready to accept this beautiful boy into your home as part of your family.
