About Foxy
READY FOR ADOPTION – MEET FOXY
Foxy is a kelpie cross puppy who is likely mastiff or another similar breed. She is predicted to be a large dog once fully grown with a current weight of 10kg and a fun loving and playful nature.
Foxy was removed from a non-supportive situation and was released to rescue when very young. She arrived with her brother Badger, both underweight with worms, friendly but starving and displayed some food aggression due to previous lack of food and water.
Foxy has a pale tan coat with a black tipped muzzle and floppy ears and brown eyes. She loves to play and then loves to sit and have company on the couch. She is learning to sit and lay down, shake and spin around.
She will happily sit for treats and lets you know through a cry if you have left her behind. She is crate trained with her brother and two other foster puppies over night and enjoys the routine of being inside with company right next to her.
Foxy is great with children but does require some training around her playful biting, tugging at clothes and jumping. She is very good and quick to respond with a quick ‘nah ah’ and redirection with toys as she is simply attempting to play and love them.
She pads her foot, lowers her head and sneezes to show she is playful and bonded both to the puppies and children as she plays.
Foxy has limited lead training. Due to her age she has not yet been able to walk. She is good in the car but hesitant to enter and exit due to lack of exposure.
She was wonderful in her vet visits, curious and playful with all who meet her and easy to medicate due to her gentle loving nature.
Foxy is on the search for a loving home who will guarantee her love, affection and understand her need for food and water provision never to be left again with nothing to eat and lack of medical treatment she so desperately needed. She is ready to love you if you are ready to accept this gorgeous girl and make her your world furever.

Adoption details
Please head to our adoption page on our website www.furkidsrescue.com.au/adoption and complete an application form. We can then contact you to arrange a private Meet n' Greet.
Clients can also attend Adoptions Days where a Meet N' Greet can take place.
If all goes well a contract must then be signed and the animal can then be taken home.
All puppies are desexed, up to date vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated.
