πΎ MEET LOTTIE
Lottie is a lovely young Border Collie with a gentle, mild-mannered nature and a beautiful coat.
At just 16.9 kgs and almost fully grown, she is a dainty, fine-boned Border Collie β a very manageable package with all the intelligence and responsiveness we associate with the breed.
β€οΈ QUIETLY AFFECTIONATE
Lottie isn't an in-your-face sort of dog and she certainly isn't an attention seeker. She is quite happy to blend quietly into the background and simply be part of whatever is going on around her.
But don't mistake that quiet nature for aloofness. Lottie is affectionate and thoroughly enjoys attention when it comes her way. She simply doesn't demand it.
She's also not a barker, adding to her generally calm and easy-going manner.
π A BORDER COLLIE ON THE GENTLER SIDE
Lottie has many of the lovely qualities of a typical Border Collie β she is bright, responsive and enjoys being involved with her people β but she sits towards the lower end of the breed's energy scale.
She will still need regular exercise, mental stimulation and an interesting life, but she isn't the highly driven, constantly-on-the-go Border Collie some people may expect.
π‘ EASY TO HAVE AROUND
Lottie has plenty going for her:
β Great with children
β Good with other dogs
β Walks nicely on leash
β Knows basic obedience
β Loves the car
β Affectionate without being demanding
β Mild-mannered and easy to have around
β Not a barker
Lottie would make a wonderful family dog or companion for someone who loves the intelligence and beauty of a Border Collie but is looking for one with a somewhat gentler approach to life.
She's simply a very nice young dog β pretty, affectionate, well-mannered and quietly delightful company.
π‘ LOTTIE'S IDEAL HOME
Lottie is looking for a home where she will be included as part of the family, enjoy regular walks and outings, and have the companionship and stimulation every young dog needs.
She doesn't need to be the centre of attention. She just wants to belong.
π INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS WELCOME
ARK welcomes suitable interstate applications. We regularly rehome dogs throughout Australia and are happy to assist successful applicants with transport options and quotes.

π©Ί HEARTWORM & TICK PREVENTION
ARK is located in the Southern Downs, where the risk of heartworm and paralysis ticks is relatively low, so our dogs are not routinely given heartworm or tick preventatives. Adopters should speak with their own vet about commencing appropriate heartworm and tick prevention for the area in which the dog will be living. A heartworm test can be arranged for a successful applicant on request.
