About Tilly
Tilly and her sister were surrendered to Wally’s from a backyard breeding situation. For two pups who have not received a lot of attention during the first seven months of their lives, they are incredibly accepting of affection and are at their happiest curled up on your lap or by your side.
They are both timid, but each day they are gaining confidence and coming more and more out of their shells. Both pups are small, weighing approximately 5kg, and are very similar in appearance, aside from Tilly having a slightly longer snout than her sister.
Behaviourally, they are also very similar — timid but cautiously friendly with adults, older children (they haven’t been exposed to young children yet) and other dogs. They are very interested in their two fur foster brothers and are showing no signs of aggression or reactivity. They have even tried to get involved in the brotherly play, but don’t seem to realise that their short stature may put them at a slight disadvantage!
Although the girls are very fond of each other, we are looking for separate homes for them. As they have spent the first seven months of their lives together, we feel that being adopted separately will give each of them the opportunity to build confidence, develop their own individual personalities and form a strong bond with their new family, rather than becoming overly reliant on one another.
Tilly is sleeping very well at night and working really hard with her toileting. She has requested a nice backyard to run and play in and would be happiest in a home where she is allowed inside and included in family life and outings. Lots of regular walks, training and owners who are around more often than not would be ideal for this little girl.
Tilly and her sister are currently in foster care with a family in Warriewood, Sydney.

* Rent or own your home? Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties outlining that dogs are allowed. Our dogs and pups will only be adopted to homes where they are allowed inside to be part of the family. Real Estate approvals must state that this is permitted.�
* Opportunities for socialization outside the home? Whilst some of our dogs are best in only dog homes, most of our dogs have been provided with lots of socialisation and will need this to be ongoing.
* Work commitments? How long will the dog be on their own? �
* Why do you think this breed will be suitable for you? Breed type experienced owners will generally be given priority.
* Will you allow this pooch to live both inside and outside as part of the family? �
* Yard check will be done to confirm you have a fully fenced secure yard and adequate shelter when the dog or pup is outdoors.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family. He/she will be desexed,1st and 2nd vaccination, microchiped, wormed and flea treated regularly and a health check done by our vet .
