Meet Ping Pong! Our Goofy, Deaf, Ball-Obsessed Girl. And then there are her ears… two giant, constantly scanning satellite dishes that appear to have their own personalities!

This gorgeous freckly girl is a whole lot of love, personality and goofy fun wrapped into one very special pup. Being deaf hasn’t slowed her down — she’s smart, affectionate, food-motivated and absolutely loves being part of the action!

Her two greatest loves? FETCH & SNIFF WALKS.

She is OBSESSED with fetch, brings the ball straight back and happily lets you take it from her mouth so the game can continue. She also loves stuffed toys, Kongs, squishy burgers, lounging on bean bags and, hilariously, sleeping in wheelbarrows!

She’s currently learning sign language and is wonderfully responsive to hand signals. She knows sit, stay, yes!, come, and waits patiently for her food bowl to hit the ground before eating. Being food-motivated makes her a very trainable girl, and she needs a home that will continue her training and keep her clever brain busy.

She thrives on company and would love a home where someone is around more often than not, with human and/or canine companionship. She adores our 13-year-old kid and our female Boxer and loves nothing more than being included.

Because she can't hear you coming, she needs people who understand how to gently wake her and get her attention without startling her. A gentle tap between the shoulders or a visual cue works beautifully.

For this reason, she isn't suited to a home with very young children who may accidentally sneak up on or startle her or knocked over in the fun! Older, dog-savvy kids who can learn her communication style would be much better suited.

Ping Pong is energetic, playful and full of love, but once she’s had her fun, she has a lovely off-switch and is happy to curl up with her people.

She doesn’t need a perfect home — she needs her people. Someone patient and committed who will learn her language, continue her training, give her plenty of companionship and let her be the wonderfully goofy girl she is.

She just needs you to be her ears — and she’ll happily be your whole heart.
