About Murray
Meet Murray, a quiet, friendly giant of the paddock.
Hand-raised, Murray has grown into an incredibly gentle steer who absolutely loves human company. If you spend time with him in the paddock, you can expect him to wander over to greet you with a friendly lick. He is more than happy to stand quietly while you brush his coat, soaking up all the attention you have to offer.
Murray is famously easy to please and doesn’t dislike anything – especially when it comes to food! His absolute favourite treat is bread, and he’s known to have a rather adventurous palate (he once cheekily ate a pair of undies right off the clothesline!).
Despite his massive size, Murray is a gentle soul who gets along well with everyone. He currently shares his paddock peacefully with sheep and lambs, and he has previously lived happily alongside horses and other cattle. He is wonderfully adaptable and would fit perfectly into a mixed-species mini herd, or make a wonderful companion for another placid steer or cow.

Current Diet:
Pasture. Lucerne hay and all-purpose pellets. He loves bread - he doesn't dislike anything.

Kisses, brushes and hand feeding are a few things Murray enjoys!
Transport:
Depending on distance, Murray’s owner has offered to support the adoption by transporting Murray to his new home.
