Odie is a handsome 4 year old Wolfhound with a big heart and an even bigger personality. After being surrendered by his previous owners, he is ready to find a loving new family who can give him the stability, patience, and care he deserves.

An intelligent and engaging companion, Odie is a pleasure to walk and enjoys getting out and about with his people. He is highly food motivated, and learns new tricks quickly when the treats come out! He loves to chase a soft toy or play tug of war with his humans.

Odie would be best suited to a home with secondary school-aged children or older who can respect his space and help him continue building confidence. He may also be suitable to live with another sociable dog following a successful meet and greet.

Odie can be a little nervous and finds storms and fireworks frightening. He will thrive with a patient and understanding family who are committed to providing reassurance, routine, and ongoing positive reinforcement training to help him feel safe and secure.
