Raven is an 8-week-old Wolfhound X girl with loads of personality and plenty of puppy energy to share! She loves nothing more than wrestling and playing with her siblings and foster siblings, and she has been beautifully socialised with dogs both big and small. Raven is friendly, energetic and outgoing, and she loves being part of whatever is happening around her. She is still a very excitable puppy, so a home with children over 8 years would suit her best. Raven hasn’t been tested with cats yet.

Raven is a clever little learner! 🎓
Raven is already making great progress with her puppy skills. She’s doing well with her toilet training and is learning sit, wait, come and down. At bedtime, she settles in her pen near her foster carers overnight. She’s an eager little learner and will benefit from plenty of positive reinforcement, consistency and ongoing training as she grows.

Raven is looking for an active family who wants a dog that will genuinely be part of family life. She’ll love having people who are ready for playtime, adventures, training sessions and plenty of interaction throughout the day.

As a Wolfhound X, Raven is expected to grow into a large dog, so her family will need to be prepared for her future size as well as the joys and responsibilities that come with raising a big-breed puppy. A secure, puppy-proofed yard will be important, along with a commitment to continuing her training and socialisation.

Most importantly, Raven wants a family who will welcome her inside, include her in everyday life and give her the guidance, exercise, enrichment and affection she needs to grow into a happy, well-mannered adult dog.

Raven’s adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.

She is in foster care in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
