A beautiful tabby with striking markings, Linus has an enormous capacity for affection and a very curious mind!

Once this sweet guy gets to know you, he's incredibly loving and hands-on. He could happily be patted for hours and will curl up on your lap, make biscuits and roll over to show you his tummy while his loud, rumbly purr lets you know just how delighted he is. He adores being close to his people and, once he's decided you're a part of his world, he'll happily join you on the couch or bed and settle in for a nap.

Linus also has the sweetest little kitten meow, which he uses to ask for pats or let you know something interesting is happening outside. One of his favourite activities is sitting by a window or screen door and watching the world go by. He can do this for hours on end! He's endlessly curious about other animals and wants to know exactly what everyone's up to.

When he isn't investigating the world, Linus loves getting cosy on the bed or snuggling on his blankie with his favourite toys nearby. He enjoys playing but isn't a fan of loud or noisy toys.

With new people, Linus likes to make the first move. Give him a calm space, sit quietly and let him investigate you in his own time. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate side comes out. He even responds when you call him!

And although he is an exceptionally sweet little guy, he would like everyone to know that he is technically a lion. He has a very impressive hiss to prove it. Unfortunately for his reputation, it is completely silent and extremely cute :)

Linus's future family should be prepared for an unusually affectionate little cat. His favourite things include long pats, making biscuits on laps, showing off his tummy, sleeping near his person, watching the outside world and announcing his requests with the cutest little kitten meow.

He is also a very serious little lion. Please respect the silent hiss.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is one where I'm allowed to be a part of everyday life and get plenty of affection, companionship and cosy places to sleep. A window with a good view would be a major bonus for this dedicated neighbourhood watch officer!

I do best when I'm allowed to approach new people and situations at my own pace, so a calm household with people who understand that trust is something you build would suit me perfectly. Once you're in my circle, expect lots of purring, biscuits, tummy displays and a little companion appearing beside you on the couch or bed.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a charming combination of curious explorer, playful lion and professional napper!

I love playing with my favourite toys, investigating what's happening around me and watching the world through the window. But I'm equally committed to getting cosy on my blankie, curling up near my humans and settling in for a very serious patting session.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids yet, but I'd probably be happiest in an adults-only home or one with high school aged children (12+). I appreciate calm, gentle interactions and being given the opportunity to approach new people in my own time. I am a very peaceful guy though, and keep my distance if I'm not allowed somewhere.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Though I've not met any other pets since arriving in foster care, I have an infinite curiosity about other animals and I'm very interested in watching and investigating them. I definitely love interacting with street cats through the door and meowing at them! I also like to eat close to the door while I watch street cats or dogs.

If you do have other pets, please be sure to introduce us slowly and carefully so we can get used to each other at a comfortable pace.
