Meet Heidi! 🐕
Heidi is a 4 year old Border Collie x who is one of the most beautiful gentle girls you will ever meet. She will melt your heart within minutes of meeting her.
TEMPERAMENT & BEHAVIOUR
Interaction with adults: Shy at first but loves people, very cuddly.
Interaction with children: Cautious at first but she adores them, would love to be part of a family with kids to play with and cuddle up to.
Suitable child age range: Any ages as she is a very gentle girl.
Interaction with other dogs: Loves other dogs, fairly submissive at first but playful and friendly. She does not like if they get in her face a lot so a tolerant dog sibling would be best.
Heidi does not need a playmate, she is happy on her own, she is fine with cats who respect her space but she would love it if her people were around more than not.
She is a low to medium energy dog and for this reason she would be best suited to a home that is not going to over exercise her and have too many expectations. Whilst she does love a good walk, her happiness is our priority.
Confidence level: Moderate - Shy at first but soon comes out of her shell. She’s a little unsure around loud noises and new busy places but is building confidence.
Heidi can be shy and submissive at first, but when she feels comfortable her true personality comes out and she shows her playful snuggly side. Heidi would welcome the opportunity to be active if it involves her humans but also enjoys a snuggle on the couch.

Behaviour on walks: Enjoys her walks and is well behaved, is fine going past people, bikes, cars etc.
Behaviour in the car: good, usually has a nap.
Independence level: Does love to have someone around most of the time.
Favourite activities: cuddles, sunning herself in the garden.
Favourite treats/toys: loves all treats and toys she can chew.
Daily routine in foster home: morning walks then breakfast and nap time, play time with foster family, then evening walk followed by cuddles on the couch before bed.
Sleeping habits: sleeps in her dog bed, settles well and sleeps quietly through the night.
Special quirks or adorable behaviours:
Heidi is still just beginning to show us her beautiful personality and what a soft gentle girl she is. If her adopter takes her introduction slowly, does not rush her and is realistic about their expectations then Heidi will reward you with being such an amazing loving dog.
Heidi is smart, sweet, empathetic and cute. She has all the basic training in place, nothing fancy but everything needed and ready for a new life full of love and adventures with her very own family.

vaccinations etc. I will also need monthly flea and worm treatments, are you prepared for that?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?
