About Nova
Gorgeous Nova 😊
This beautiful girl is a happy, confident little pup with a playful personality and plenty of love to give. ❤️
Nova is a Mastiff x Labrador and is expected to grow into a large dog of approximately 30kg, so her future family needs to be prepared for a much bigger version of the little puppy they bring home!
She is curious and loves exploring, playing and getting involved in whatever is happening around her. Nova has a lovely confidence about her and is already showing us that she is a smart girl who enjoys learning and engaging with her people.
She is great with other dogs and has also met cats. She is learning to read their boundaries and has been respectful when they tell her she has come close enough 😂
Nova has spent time with children of all ages and loves being part of the action. She has a fun, affectionate nature and would suit a family who wants a dog they can really include in their everyday life.
Like every puppy, Nova still has plenty to learn. Her new family will need to continue working on toilet training, lead walking, appropriate chewing, boundaries, socialisation and teaching her how to confidently spend time alone.
Puppy school will be a requirement for her adoption, and we would love to see her continue with obedience training afterwards. She is right in that important socialisation period, so positive exposure to different people, animals, environments, sounds and experiences is incredibly valuable.
Nova has all the makings of a fantastic family dog. Now she just needs a family willing to put in the work while she grows into the beautiful big girl we know she can be. 🐾❤️
🏡 HOME REQUIREMENTS
Because Nova will be a large dog, we are looking for a home with a secure, grassed yard where she has plenty of room to play, explore and stretch her legs.
She must have secure, appropriate height fencing with no gaps or areas she could easily escape from as she grows.
Nova will also need a proper covered outdoor area such as a patio or pergola that provides protection from the sun and weather. A kennel on its own does not meet this requirement.
She is not suited to a home where she will spend the majority of her life outside. Nova needs to be included as part of the family, with plenty of interaction, enrichment, training and love. ❤️
