Vito is one of two GSP kelpie puppies surrendered to the ark at 9 weeks old. They have received all the love and care as puppies and are ready for their new family.
This clever little boy is already showing how much joy he can bring to your life and showing how much potential he has.
🏡 A Wonderful Start
Vito and his brother Usher have been part of family life almost from the beginning.
From around two weeks of age they were gently handled and socialised and have grown up with exposure to children, older dogs, cats and chickens.
That early experience has given Vito an excellent foundation for his future.
His new family will need to continue that work with positive, consistent training, thoughtful socialisation and plenty of involvement in everyday family life.
🐾 And Vito now needs a forever family prepared to take that wonderful beginning and build on it.

✓ Indoor privileges and a genuine place in family life
✓ Kind, positive and consistent training
✓ Continued careful socialisation
✓ Secure fencing
✓ Age-appropriate exercise and mental stimulation
✓ A family ready for the needs of a medium-to-large adult dog
Puppies are delightful, funny and enormously rewarding — but they also require time, patience, consistency and commitment.
Vito deserves a family ready for the whole wonderful package.
✂️ Deferred Desexing Program
Vito will be adopted under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program.
His adoption fee is $795, including the cost of desexing, subject to the terms of ARK’s Deferred Desexing Agreement.
His successful adopter will be required to sign the agreement and ensure Vito is desexed within the required timeframe.
ARK welcomes suitable interstate applications and is happy to assist successful applicants with information and quotes for transport.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
