Meet Ivy, a goofy, outgoing little bundle of fun who is always ready for her next adventure! 🐾💜

Ivy is an 8-week-old Wolfhound X girl with a big personality and an even bigger future ahead of her! She’s an energetic, friendly pup who loves being around people and dogs and thinks wrestling with her siblings and foster siblings is the very best way to spend her day. Ivy has been well socialised with dogs both big and small and is happiest when she’s part of the action. She’s still an excitable puppy, so a home with children over 8 years would suit her best. Ivy hasn’t been tested with cats yet.

Ivy is a clever little learner! 🎓
This clever girl is eager to please and already showing us how much she enjoys learning. She’s doing well with her toilet training and is learning her basic commands, including sit, wait, come and down. At night, Ivy sleeps happily in her pen near her foster carers. Like all puppies, she’ll need plenty of patience, consistency and positive reinforcement as she continues to grow and learn.

Ivy is looking for an active family who will welcome her right into the heart of their home and make her a true part of the family. She’ll thrive with people who enjoy getting out and about, playing, training and keeping a young dog’s busy brain entertained.

Her adopters will need to be prepared for the fact that this gorgeous girl is a Wolfhound X and will grow into a large dog. Continuing her training and socialisation will be incredibly important, particularly as she grows. A secure, puppy-proofed yard and a family committed to keeping her mentally and physically stimulated will be essential.

Ivy would love a family who sees the fun in raising a puppy and is excited to help her become the wonderful adult dog she’s destined to be. In return, she’ll bring plenty of laughs, adventures, cuddles and goofy puppy moments!

Ivy’s adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.

She is in foster care in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
