About Birdie
Meet Birdie! A super sweet little girl with a huge purr, loads of personality, and enough energy to keep everyone entertained!
Birdie came into care at around 3 weeks old after being found severely emaciated, incredibly weak and without a mum. She was a little bag of bones and very close passing away, but with bottle feeds and lots of TLC, this little fighter pulled through. She has now grown into a healthy, happy kitten who is ready to find her forever home.
Birdie is a fun-loving little whirlwind who is always ready for her next adventure! She loves toys, zooming around the house, and getting into whatever mischief she can find. She has plenty of energy and loves a good wrestle, especially with the friendly dog in her foster home. She also enjoys playing with the other cats and has no trouble keeping up with them. Birdie is fully litter trained and has grown up around other cats and a friendly dog, getting along well with everyone. Of course, Birdie has a very sweet side too. As a bottle baby, she is especially fond of her humans and loves attention when she’s ready for a break from all the action. She has an impressively loud purr and is always happy to settle in for some pats before she’s off again for her next adventure!
Birdie also has a very unique coat. When she was severely malnourished and her coat was growing in, lots of little white hairs appeared scattered throughout her black fur. As she grows, these are gradually being replaced with black hairs, so her coat will likely be all black pretty soon. Birdie is a playful, energetic, cheeky little girl with a huge personality and would love a home that can keep up with her fun-loving nature. Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
