About Skid
Skids breed is French bulldog x Jack Russell Terrier
Skid loves life, whether it is a chew toy, walks, puzzle toys or chasing another dog around the yard.
He's a confident little guy and loves everybody he meets and everyone loves him. He is great with other dogs and will happily bark to let you know you have a visitor but he doesn't continuously bark for no reason.
Skid loves a ride in the car and to spend time with his people. He is good at walking on the lead and can be easily walked with other dogs.
Skid is a smart guy and has been crate trained, and has learnt to sit, and his house manners are developing well. He loves his food and he loves getting a reward when he has been a good boy. He can sometimes have a little growl over a toy when he is playing with a it.
Skid’s toilet training skills are still being developed, he now only occasionally has an accident inside the house. In a new environment until he learns where to go, he will need to be taken outside regularly and rewarded for voiding urine outside.
Skid is currently living with a cat and two large dogs with no issues and while out walking he has seen cattle, alpacas, large birds and has not reacted to them. He is not suited to living in a home with pet rabbits or small birds.
Skid is a spunky, sweet, smart, confident, cuddly boy. Prepare to be followed everywhere!
Skid requires the following in his new home:
* Another desexed playful dog in the home.
* To go on outings with his people.
* Continued training with house manners and toilet training.
* A fully fenced secure yard.
* Not suited to live in apartments or units.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition that you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
