About Milo - 8 Week Old Wolfhound X
Meet Milo – a sweet, loving little guy who is such a snuggle bug!! Give him five minutes and he’ll be emotionally invested in you forever. 🥰
Milo enjoys quietly playing with his toys, but he’s also more than happy to clock off from his peaceful activities and join his brother Ziggy and foster brother, 10-month-old American Staffy Axel, for some serious puppy wrestling.🤼🐶
Milo follows his humans around just in case they need help with something important.
Milo would be very happy in a home with or without other dogs. He loves playing with his furry friends, but one-on-one time with his human is also pretty special.
He travels well in the car, sleeps beautifully in his crate all night and can hold his toileting most nights. Daytime toilet training is still a work in progress because apparently remembering where the toilet is while being busy playing is surprisingly difficult.
He can get a little upset when left alone, but he’s learning to settle until his human comes home. Ideally, Milo would love someone who is home most of the day or pops in and out during the day because being included in family life is his favourite activity.
As Milo is a young puppy he is only suitable for kids over 8 years old.
Milo must be welcomed inside as part of the family. Outdoor-only living is not for this little people-person.

His adoption fee is $800 which includes desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
He is in foster care in Nelson Bay, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
